Step inside the new Café Contemporary with owner Avery Cannon

Cafés have played a huge role in art scenes throughout history. From the Hôtel de Rambouillet in Paris to the Algonquin Round Table in New York City, artists and thinkers have long gathered around coffee, food and spirits to connect, converse and debate the issues of the day.
Joining that grand salon tradition, the new Café Contemporary is your home for artisanal beverages, delectable treats, hearty meals and stimulating conversations. Discuss Yatika Fields' bold use of color or Sam Charboneau's eye for the uncanny while savoring housemade strawberry scones and locally roasted espresso, along with thoughtfully prepared salads, sandwiches, pasta and more.

The backdrop may be breathtaking, but don't expect any fussy pretense from your arts center's new dining space. "We provide a pretty casual dining experience in such a beautiful setting," said Café Contemporary owner Avery Cannon.
The café's full menu is currently available for curbside pickup, including to-go coffee from Oklahoma City's own Counterspell Coffee. Check out the full menu here, and place your order by calling 405-768-2845. (Oklahoma Contemporary members are now enjoying early access to the building, exhibitions and the café's dine-in experience. We look forward to welcoming you on-site when public access begins -- or you can become a member to experience our new home now.)
In the meantime, go inside the new space with Cannon, who will give you a taste of what you can expect from the creative menu, laid-back vibe and friendly staff of Café Contemporary.
