Oklahoma Contemporary Teen Arts Council (OCTAC) is a diverse group of teens with varied backgrounds and experiences who are interested in exploring contemporary art, ideas and the creative process through collaboration and engagement with artists, curators, educators, community partners and the public.
OCTAC members spend an academic year engaging in gallery experiences, exploring a variety of artistic methods and genres, discovering the professional art world, learning about a variety of art-related career options, advising OCAC staff, planning programs and gaining a deep understanding of art organizations by working with artists and community organizations.
OCTAC meets during the school year from September to May (twice a month, 4:30-6:30 p.m.) to develop projects with artists, community, staff and other teens. Food is provided for every meeting and teens are financially compensated.
Applications for the 2023-2024 session have closed.
Contact the Coordinator of Teen and Youth Programs at email@example.com with any questions or concerns.
