Oklahoma Contemporary

Digital Camp | Contemporary Clay Creations

Taking inspiration from Japanese pop art artist Yayoi Kusama and the fall season, campers will create pumpkins and other forms and add a contemporary twist! During this weeklong digital camp, campers will be introduced to ceramic practices, including hand building techniques, clay construction and more. Camp Kits for this camp will include clay, specialized tools and other colorful surprises. To wrap up camp, several finished ceramics pieces will be fired and glazed by Oklahoma Contemporary staff, for families to enjoy for years to come.

(COVID-19 precaution: Ceramic art pieces created by campers will be fired and glazed by Oklahoma Contemporary instructors and staff members. Participating families will be responsible for dropping off and picking up finished art pieces. Due to the type of the art materials used in the camp, shipment of Camp Kits for Contemporary Clay Creations is unavailable.)
