Workshop | Make a Ceramic Herb/Windowsill Planter

Make a ceramic planter and grow your own herbs. If you don’t like growing plants, or cooking with fresh herbs or cooking at all, use your planter to store take-out receipts and feel superior because other people make food for you. Or…make a planter, fill it with dried grains and reenact that scene in Amelie where she gets pleasure from dipping her fingers into a barrel of what looks like lentils. Because when your kids are screaming, the dog won’t stop scooting his behind on the carpet, the cat is barfing, and your partner won’t put their dishes in the dishwasher even though the dishwasher is right next to the sink—not even an arm’s reach away—you can gaze at your handmade planter, sink your fingers into those grains and whisper: I am in Paris.

No ceramic experience necessary. Registration closes July 24.

Pick up your fired and finished planter about a week later. Don’t worry, we will call you when it’s ready.

If the workshop is postponed due to weather or unforeseen instructor circumstances, the rain date is Friday, August 11. Please note that the make-up date is on a Friday.
