This is the class for you, too — it provides a solid foundation and a fun environment to grow and experiment. Class format includes demonstrations, work time and supportive group critiques where you can ask questions and learn from your fellow classmates.

You requested an oil painting class and here it is! This beginner-friendly class teaches skills of blocking-in, separating light from shadow, setting up proper value relationships, getting the light effect, color relationships and more.

Who knows, maybe after eight weeks you’ll build a scaffold in your living room and lie on your back for four years painting your ceiling?

Required prerequisite: Watercolor Fundamentals or other watercolor classes.

Take this class and learn to watercolor all the tricky reflective surfaces in your life, like glass or water or mirrors, windows, balloons, vats of glitter and tinsel, large rolls of aluminum foil or your face in the morning if you have an oily face. You'll learn tips and tricks and have fun and no, we won't make you paint aluminum foil I was just trying to think of shiny things because inside I'm a crow. Caw. Caw.

No experience necessary! Join artist Isa Rodriguez to get unstuck and be more creative. There are as many ways to draw as there are people who want to draw. In this class, you’ll practice drawing techniques like gesture, contour, scribbling (yes, scribbling is drawing), tracing, collage, automatic drawing and other stuff.
