This is the class for you, too — it provides a solid foundation and a fun environment to grow and experiment. Class format includes demonstrations, work time and supportive group critiques where you can ask questions and learn from your fellow classmates.

Bright, colorful and juicy—what's not to like*? Join artist Jenny Elton and learn oil pastel techniques to explore, light, shadow, layers and color. Never used oil pastel? No problem. Never eaten fruit? You should probably see someone about that.

No experience necessary! Join artist Isa Rodriguez to get unstuck and be more creative. There are as many ways to draw as there are people who want to draw. In this class, you’ll practice drawing techniques like gesture, contour, scribbling (yes, scribbling is drawing), tracing, collage, automatic drawing and other stuff.

Want to create characters for books, comics, games, and animations? Learn principles and techniques of character illustration and design from Larry Whitaker, Hollywood animator, director, screenwriter and designer!

Larry Whitaker has created computer animation for live-action and fully animated projects to traditional animation for such classic icons as Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. As an animation director, Larry has had the opportunity to bring to life computer and traditionally animated creatures co-starring with actors such as Bill Paxton, Charlize Theron, Brendan Frasier, and basketball legend turned actor Michael Jordan. He is the owner and founder of Ghost Train pictures.
