Stephen King, an Oklahoma City local, and is an audio and visual / production designer, lighting director and programmer. He joins Oklahoma Contemporary as the technical and production manager.
Stephen has extensive experience crafting both large- and small-scale productions for concerts, tours and special events. Throughout his career, he has created various lighting design styles, including theater, dance, industrial and corporate. You may have seen some of his lighting designs in several Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park productions. He has also worked in sound engineering for small- and large-scale live music events.
Stephen received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University. Fun fact: Stephen is a drummer, and his love of music led to an interest in production!
