Nicholi Noah is a mixed reality artist and accessibility engineer in OKC. Preferring creatively-learned knowledge over traditional education, Nicholi seeks out alternative methods to learn through curiosity. Surrounding himself with art and imagination at Oklahoma Contemporary as VE and Gallery Guide, Nicholi finds inspiration in every corner of the art center. Especially valuing the quirky interpretations of young ones.
Majoring in video at Classen School of Advanced
Studies, Nicholi gravitated early to multimedia as both an art form and profession.
Fascinated with analog VHS tape-to-tape and computer animation in the mid-‘90s,
Nicholi set sight on a 25-year digital video career spanning broadcast, film and virtual education. Both career and curiosity pushed Nicholi to travel the
world, leading to a six-year stint hustling advertising in Detroit while
documenting street art with local graffiti writers.
Moving back to Oklahoma City in 2017, Nicholi expanded his skill sets as an early
adopter and beta tester for NEOS, a mixed reality collaboration engine.
Developing metaverse experiences while immersed in the culture of computer
programming was the perfect environment for Nicholi to grow, ultimately
collaborating on VR education tools with developers from Microsoft and Google.
