Membership and Visitor Experience Manager Amanda Herl can be found at Oklahoma Contemporary’s front desk interacting with guests. She also supports colleagues with payroll, staff scheduling and training. Prior to joining Oklahoma Contemporary in 2019, she worked for 20+ years in the legal industry.
Originally from Kansas, Amanda grew up on a farm in a tiny town in the northwest part of the state. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies and Political Science. Amanda previously served on the Hays Arts Council Board and CASA of the High Plains Board and volunteered for the OKC Festival of the Arts.
In her spare time, Amanda can be found spending time with her family and friends, going to concerts, kayaking and fostering her love of arts by working on mixed media pieces. She resides in Oklahoma with her wife, Lisa, and furkids, Cobain and Frances.
